OTR Solutions - Automated Payment Platform

As a digital product designer, I undertook a pivotal role in the digital transformation journey of a logistical factoring company, with the objective of refactoring their entire digital workstream for invoice submissions.

Project Highlights:

Problem - Revolutionizing Digital Workflows: The logistical factoring company was at a critical juncture in their digital transformation. The task at hand was to revamp their process for handling invoice submissions, which was traditionally cumbersome and paper-driven.

Vision - Empowering Efficiency: Our vision was to create an Automated Data Platform that could eliminate repetitive, time-consuming tasks, thereby freeing up employees to focus on what they excel at: solving problems for their customers.

Approach - User-Centered Design and Streamlining: To achieve this vision, we commenced a series of User-Centered Design workshops. These workshops involved dissecting their existing system into logical steps, meticulously identifying and eliminating redundant tasks. We also employed job shadowing and silent interviews to understand the daily challenges faced by employees. This process allowed us to craft simplified prototypes, which were then tested and iterated upon with internal users at OTR.

Solution - Digitizing and Simplifying Workflow: The outcome of our efforts was a complete transformation of the company's workflow. What was once a manual process, involving paperwork changing hands, was now a digitally streamlined and transparent workflow. Employees interacted with a simplified, user-friendly interface, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in processing invoices.
